About Me
With over 25 years of experience as a dance teacher, I have developed extensive skills as a director, choreographer, producer, and teacher of Classical Ballet, Jazz, American Tap, and Musical Theatre at BH Broadway. Besides my role as an educator, I have also excelled as a dancer, actress, costume designer, prop master, and set designer.
My education includes international training in Classical Ballet from the Royal Academy of Dance (London/UK), a Bachelor of Performing Arts from the School of Fine Arts of UFMG (Brazil), a Bachelor of Psychology from the Higher Education Center of Juiz de Fora (Brazil), a Specialization in Dance from the Pedagogy of Movement of UFMG (Brazil), and a Teaching Degree in Dance from the Faculty of Physical Education of UFJF (Brazil).
I have also been honored with several awards throughout my career, including the Fest Dance for Best Choreographer, which recognizes my significant contributions to the performing arts.

The Fest Dance is an important national-level competitive dance festival that takes place annually in the city of Juiz de Fora (the second largest city in the state of Minas Gerais).
In the three years I participated, I was awarded 7 times consecutively in the years 2000, 2001, and 2002.

During my time as an art teacher at AME - Ação Mineira para Educação, I participated in the social inclusion project "Todos por Todos Aprendendo Além da Escola", where I provided comprehensive education in Theater and Dance for approximately 100 underprivileged children per year. I developed important projects such as the production of an opera presented to an audience of approximately 1200 people. During my time in the project, I carried out many authentic works that included teaching the art of American tap dancing to the practice of interpretation.
Certainly, my pioneering, serious, broad, and consistent work was the showcase that AME needed to achieve recognition from UNESCO and affiliate itself with "Criança Esperança", an initiative of Rede Globo.
